Yes, we do this all the time. We just need to know a few things before the day:
We'll set up the chairs in the hall ready for your ceremony the day you arrive (the day before your wedding).
One the ceremony is over, we would expect you and your guests to go outside for photos, or into bar or drawing room for a celebratory drink and canapés.
Simultaneously, we'll oversee the changover of the hall from wedding ceremony into wedding breakfast room, which takes between 45 minutes and 1 hour. We just need to know the following:
- How many guests you have coming.
- Your chosen caterer and whether they will be laying the tables (see our 'Questions to ask your caterer' article).
- How you would like the hall set up to fit with your seating plan.
- What glasses you would like put out on the tables.
Please note: If you have your chosen caterer does not provide front-of-house staff (which includes most hog-roast or 'trailer' vendors) we may need to hire additional staff to manage this change over which will be included in the final deposit.
