Terms and Conditions
In confirming your booking with us you agree to the following Terms and Conditions
Cancellation

If payments are not received within fourteen days of the due payment date(s) Scorrier House reserves the right to cancel the booking.

If the booking is cancelled by you the deposit and any monies paid will be refundable only if the date is rebooked. All refunds are subject to expenses incurred.

If Scorrier House is unable to accommodate the booking the total Venue Hire price is refundable.

If a booking has to be postponed both parties will agree on a new date whereupon Scorrier House will provide an updated Confirmation of Booking.

In the event that the booking is postponed to an agreed alternative date, no refund shall be payable but sums paid shall be credited in respect of the rescheduled booking.

If the postponed date requires additional payment (if a ‘low season’ date is postponed to a ‘high season’ date for example) then the difference will be due within 14 days of the Confirmation of Booking.
Timings
You will be invoiced for either a half day (4-hour) or full day (8-hour) period of hire.
Please let us know if these timings are incorrect, or if you need to extend the period of hire before or afterwards. (Any additional time when the House or Grounds is used, including for preparation or storage, will be chargeable.)
Number of People
The price below reflects the number of people you have told us will attend your Event. Please let us know if this changes significantly as the rooms might not be suitable for your Event and additional charges may apply.
Catering
If you have booked any catering for your Event through Scorrier House you must inform us of any dietary requirements and the timings of any meals at least 5 working days before the Event.
Layout
Please let us know how you would like the room(s) configured before your Event, including any tables (we have 6ft rectangular and 6ft round tables) and the number of chairs.
Please let us know if you require the use of our projector and screen or audio system.
Decoration
You are welcome to bring decorations or appoint suppliers to decorate the house, however, please do not use duct tape, cable ties or pins/nails/staples on any part of the house.
Waste
Scorrier House provides facilities to dispose of recyclable waste with the exception of food waste. Please ask your caterers to arrange the disposal of food and non-recyclable waste (this includes takeaway food packaging).
