What does the on-day coordinator do?

They will:

• Ensure all venue furniture is set up and ready, including service tables, the registrar's table and the PA system.
• Prepare the venue for drinks service throughout the day, ensuring wines are chilled, glasses are set out, and everything is ready for service.
• Ensure drinks are served and glassware cleared away at the end of the night.
• Act as the main point of contact for any questions relating to the venue, furniture, equipment or locations throughout the day.
• Be available for any last-minute miscellaneous questions from the wedding party and your suppliers.
• Guide the wedding party into position before the ceremony and ensure everyone is ready to walk down the aisle.
• Be on hand throughout the day to troubleshoot venue-related issues and help keep everything running as seamlessly as possible.

While we're always happy to be as helpful as we can, there are a few things that fall outside the role of the venue coordinator. We recommend arranging these with your wedding party, caterer or other suppliers.

These include:

• Providing, setting up or styling decorations, crockery, cutlery or linen (with the exception of the cake table and registrar's table, which we will prepare).
• Ushering or directing guests throughout the day.
• Operating ceremony music or acting as your Master of Ceremonies (MC), including making announcements. We'll make sure whoever is responsible knows how to use our PA system and microphones, and we'll be available to assist with any equipment issues if needed.
• Clearing food and crockery - your caterer is responsible for clearing all crockery and disposing of all food-related waste. (If you're staying for an additional night after your wedding, we can arrange for our team to carry out the tidy-up the following morning for an additional fee—just let us know in advance and we'll be happy to discuss the options)
